What is VitaBowl?
VitaBowl is an online platform that delivers personalized, nutritonist-designed, chef-refined superfood meals to you fresh.
How are we different from competitors?
We take pride in delivering fresh meals that are never frozen, unlike many of our competitors. We believe that fresh ingredients make a huge difference in taste and quality, which is why we prioritize freshness in everything we do.
All of our ingredients and meats are locally sourced and carefully selected for their quality. We guarantee that our ingredients are free from antibiotics, gluten, dairy, GMO soy and corn, chemical preservatives, and artificial colors. We believe that real, whole food is essential for a healthy body and mind, and we are committed to providing our customers with the highest quality ingredients possible.
We truly believe that "food is medicine" and we are dedicated to making healthy, nutritious meals accessible to everyone.
When do customers see their menu?
New menus are added to your ordering site every week on Friday morning. This menu is visible up until the next order deadline—Thursday midnight (9pm PT or 11:59pm ET on Wednesday).
Our menus may be different, depending on the customer’s location. We make sure there’s a variety of fresh and delicious food, prepared locally, for all of our users.
Is this a subscription?
Yes, this is a subscription where you are billed weekly for a meal plan.
The orders may be modified each week and you may cancel your subscription anytime.
Is there a deadline to place an order?
Customers can place their orders any time before Thursday 11:59pm (your local time) to receive their meals the following week (on Sunday).
Any order placed after this cut off time will be fulfilled the following week.
Can customers edit their order?
Customers may edit their order any time during the weekly menu period (Friday morning to Thursday midnight). Once the ordering window is closed, the order cannot be changed.
Is there a minimum order?
For local delivery, we require a minimum order of 8 meals per week in your meal plan.
For shipped delivery, we require a minimum order of 6 meals per week in your meal plan.
Are the meals ready-to-eat?
Yes, all meals are ready-to-eat out. Our cold bowls may require re-heating.
How many days are the meals good for?
Meals are best eaten within 5 days of the delivery.
Where do you deliver?
We now serve customers in zip codes within 40+ states nationwide.

When do customers receive deliveries?
There are two delivery options for customers, based on their location: Local and Shipped.
Customers in our local delivery zones (LA, DC, and NYC areas) will receive up to two deliveries per week, on Sundays and Wednesdays. These customers can choose meals for either, or both, delivery dates.
They can order a minimum of 8 meals and a maximum of meals per week.
Customers in our shipped delivery zones get one weekly delivery on Wednesdays. These customers can order a minimum of 6 and maximum of 12 meals per week.
How are meals delivered?
Meals are delivered in an insulated box with ice packs.
How long will my meals stay cold?
Meals are delivered in insulated cooler bag with icepacks and will remain cold for up to 12 hours from delivery.
